Mestiza Soap Review

by 3:47 PM
I've been searching for a moisturizing soap that I can bring to baguio since the weather in baguio is a bit colder, I assumed my skin will be sooo dry as a chalk board, then this Mestiza soap caught my attention because of the fruits printed on the box, and I was like wow! Let me give it a try since it is made of all natural ingredients. ( speaking of baguio, I will make a review of the transient house and an Itinerary for our baguio trip last feb. 14-16 )

Ingredients:

Hi Grade Coconut Oil VCO – effective in removing molds, bacteria, and virus on skin

Carrot Extract – contains vitamin A which reduces wrinkles and fine lines

Papaya Extract – provides skin whitening and moisturizing treatment

Banan Extract –smoothens out various skin problems

Calamansi Extract – contains vitamin C, valued for its skin toning properties

All so lovely natural ingredients WOW!!

Where to buy?

How much?
50php something "haha alam nyo na makakalimutin ako sa price :)"

My Review:
Honestly, I thought this soap was just over advertised as they claimed that it is so effective, but hey I must admit I'm wrong, based on the ingredients alone oh dear! I soo love this soap. The soap is not so harsh on skin, I also like the smell, it smells like a candy for me lol. And the whitening effect? Yes and yes I noticed micro peeling after two days, but the peeling is very decent and I love it, that means ⌛ the soap is effective. As far as moisturizing is concerned, it didn't give me enough moisture that I want, but hey it's not over drying huh,  I'm still very pleased. I finished a bar now and will definitely go back to this soap once I run out of soaps to try, kudos! Mestiza!. as of now I have few boxes of soap to try so stay tuned for individual reviews :))

The list of my fave soaps is getting longer huh lol..

Disclaimer:
This is not a sponsored review, I bought the product from my own pocket, I'm just very satisfied so I bet this soap deserves to be featured here in my blog  :)

Let's Pamper: Thai Royale Spa Review

by 11:54 PM

Lalalalala yes I'm happy while writing this post, curious why? Well then let me share it to you! ( this will be a short but detailed review )

Me and my partner love visiting spa, we are a fan of body massage as our bonding and a treat for ourselves. We regularly visit any NUAT THAI or BALI BLISS SPA as we are satisfied with their massage and packages. But yesterday, we saw a newly opened spa in Maharlika Highway Cabanatuan city named: THAI ROYALE SPA and without thinking twice, we've decided to give it a shot! (we are in the province for vacation and to visit my family.)

Services offered:

In our world full of stress and jam-packed schedules, our body and mind tend to be tired and need pampering every once in a while. We are looking for the best relaxation place for us to at least get away from the busy life. THAI ROYALE SPA is the right place to unwind!

We availed our favorite Swedish massage with aromatherapy oil.

My review:

They washed our feet with warm water ( same as nuat thai ) the ambiance is very cozy, a Thailand inspired environment will welcome you with the touch of Buddhas and all. We found it nice and relaxing. The receptionist is approachable and friendly as well as their female therapists. The whole body Swedish massage is a  must try! We are very satisfied with their routine of massage it's very pampering. Back massage is my favorite and they know all the stress points and tired part of my back. After one hour of whole body massage, they will offer you a hot tea which is perfect to complete your siesta. :) And oh! They also have a small cabinet wherein you can secure your belongings. Because we are really happy and satisfied, we handed them a tip as a way of us saying thank you for giving us a great day. We will definitely go back to Thai Royale Spa again and again. This is our new favorite dating spot hahaha.

Sorry I wasn't able to take lots of pictures because my cam has a shutter sound, I don't want other guests to be disturbed hihi so here are the pics I took.

Will I recommend it?

Obviously YES! This is a perfect place if you want to relax and have a great body massage! They have packages that suites your taste, needs and budget.

You can check if there's a branch near you on their website:

SVR Sofia's glutathione soap with kojic and collagen review

by 2:21 PM

Three weeks ago, I've received a soap from SVR INFINITY, I've got two bars to try. If you are following me on instagram and twitter you will see that I posted it the time I received the product.. Again here's the screen cap.

First thing I've noticed about the product is the packaging, wow it is beautifully wrapped in a white clean paper with sticker on it which includes the manufacturing and expiration date. The moment I opened it, I was surprised by the smell, d*mn I soooooooo love the smell, It reminds me of oatmeal and vanilla haha my partner said " I want to bite it". So do I. Lol because It really smells pretty pretty good.

Look young and beautiful with the Glutathione Soap with Kojic and Collagen from Sofia's. It is designed to make your beauty regimen effortless by combining Glutathione, Kojic Acid, and Collagen.

- Glutathione promotes fair skin tone
- Kojic Acid decreases skin pigmentations
- Collagen helps increase skin elasticity

My review:

As I have mentioned earlier, this soaps were sent for product review and consideration. Whether I bought the soap or it is sponsored, I will give my review based on my experience using it and will tell you frankly and straight to the point if it is effective or not. So let's get started :). Having healthy and radiant skin is the key to looking youthful and beautiful. Some of us are lucky enough to have soft and supple problem-free skin throughout our lives. For the rest of us who suffer from the occasional skin darkening or other problems such as dry or oily skin, there are Sofia's soaps and cleansers! The soap melts easily which means it is potent and doesn't have more fillers on it. So I cut it in to pieces. It stings a lil bit so I rinse it after 3mins every bath, I'm using it two times a day. And after the first day I noticed some micro peeling on my arms, legs and tummy, and my skin is smooth, so I continued to use the soap and after three weeks of using the soap, I must say that it is really effective! Will share you my before and after pic below. This soap will be added on my favorites! Kudos! Svr infinity! Thanks for giving me the opportunity to try a wonderful product of yours! Cheers!! :)

As you can see, my skin gets a lil fairer and the yellow undertone is gone plus the scar is almost gone! Yeyyy!!

Will I recommend it?

Yes yes and yes! The soap is true to its promise! It is very rave from beauty forums online, and most of their claims are true! Plus the soap is homemade or handmade, so I feel that the soap is special and full of love ;)

When Lovers go back to being strangers again

by 2:58 AM

Isn’t it sad how someone who was once the most important person in your life becomes a stranger again?
You never thought it’s gonna happen and it never crossed your mind that it’s even possible–that you two are going to live separate lives one day.
You never realized that the day would come when the only person who used to stand by your side would be the same man you can’t stand to sit beside with even for just a few minutes.
Or, maybe you did but you just didn’t expect it was that soon.
Ever heard about the stages of a relationship, from strangers to lovers, and then back to being strangers again?
I saw this video on Youtube and let me sum it up for you:
1. The Meeting—This is the part where your eyes lock at each other and then you exchange numbers;
2. The Chase—This is where you start becoming a stalker; you read all his/her Facebook history from “joining Facebook” to “recent activities”;
3. The Honeymoon—I think this is the part where the feeling becomes mutual. From the time you wake up ‘til you close your eyes, all you can think about is spending time with him/her;
4. The Comfortable Stage—This is the time when you’re completely at ease with each other and everything becomes a routine. Some decide to get married, some call it quits, but, I believe, either ways would still lead to stage 5 in the long run;
5. The Tolerance—I would describe this as the part where you can’t leave each other but neither can you stand to talk to each other for more than an hour because every conversation leads to a horrible dispute.
6. The Downhill—This is the part where you try to fix things. You try to talk it through, but nothing seems to be changing. Same old issues are raised every time; and, finally,
7. The Break-up—This is the step made “for the common good.” You part ways although you can’t help it to eavesdrop news about him/her.
You’ll eventually lose connections and everything goes back on track as if nothing had happened. Without even noticing it, you are already living separate lives.
And, just when you are no longer thinking about it, you’ll run into them, unprepared and totally off guard.
I tell you, this is the most intimidating moment in the world–to cross paths with an old lover and not know whether to smile or take the long way just to avoid him/her.
Your heart pounds as you two gets closer and you try as much as you can not to meet eyes with him/her so you could keep pretending you didn’t notice one another. It’s going to be one of the longest few seconds of your life and you’ll wish to fast-forward it.
When you get through it and reach home, you can’t help but think how it was if you two didn’t have a past though it wasn’t so long ago when you two were inseparable. You had the blueprint of your life together. You had pictured building your own house; raising two kids and nightly dine outs because both of you can’t cook.
He was the only person who knew how horrible your English grammar is, and you weren’t ashamed because you knew he knew exactly what you meant.
He was your shock absorber. He would patiently listen to your stories about how ridiculous your office mates were. He used to be the only person who knew what you wanted before you even realized it. He knew exactly how to console you whenever you felt like a complete basket-case.
He was yours once upon a time and yet, with just a blink of an eye, the magic spell turned to dust and everything went back the way it was once between the two of you–complete strangers.
But, I think that’s how it’s meant to be. We don’t own people and we can only spend a certain time in their lives.
So, while we do have them with us, let’s make the best memories with them so that, every time they remember us, they would smile and miss that life with us.
Life is not about happy endings, but about how you lived every days of it.
Just because things didn’t end up the way you planned them doesn’t mean it was an awful relationship. It’s the good run you two had towards the end that counts.
Sadly, all good things come to an end. But, that’s life and that’s the way it is. It’s gonna happen again.
What we must learn is how to hold things with loose grip so it’s not so painful when we let them go.
Remember life is touch and go. ?
