Battle of Moisturizing Soaps (Nivea, Dove & Jergens)

My sister knows how I love soaps. That's why she sent me a lot all the way from UAE. Thanks to my sweet dear sister. :)

My skin is always dry. Always! That's why a moisturizing soap is a must have on my toiletries. Today, I'll share to you my review of the moisturizing soaps I currently have.

Before we start, let me share a little background on how I usually soap my skin. I'm actually using 4 kind of soaps 2 times a day. You heard it right! Wait, I'm not insane or some sort of addict huh. I just love doing it and I feel incomplete without them. The first soap I'm using is an anti bacterial soap like safeguard, followed by shower gel ( Olay ) then comes my whitening soap ( kojic, gluta or placenta soap ) and to finish everything I use my moisturizing soap or in-shower lotion. I always rinse every after soap. Hahaha that's long. I'm not surprised why my skin is so sensitive and dry but I don't care. Haha. I'm not saying you should do the same hah. It's my personal choice. ( Can you imagine how long my bathing routine everyday takes? Haha )

What?
Battle of Moisturizing Soaps ( Dove, Jergens & Nivea )

Where to buy?
Watsons ( not sure with Nivea though )

My review:

Dove used to be my holy grail moisturizing soap. I'm not sure why it's not working on my skin anymore. It tends to make my skin dryer this past few months. I also got some rashes around my tummy while using dove. I'm not sure if they've changed their formulation or what not. Or maybe my skin is more sensitive now? Yayks! :(

I've been seeing this Jergens soap in the supermarket and I always ignore it. That's why when I saw that this was included in my package, I smiled secretly like I have a plan. Haha. The soap smells super duper nice. You know the smell of fresh na malinis? Haha basta ganon. Ang bango nya! Like I don't wanna rinse it anymore. Good thing the smell lasts even after bath. My skin feels so fresh and moisturized every after use. Kudos!

Oh yeah! This is my newest favorite in-shower cream. The best in moisturizing of them all. It's like a milk literally. I feel like I'm bathing with milk using Nivea Creme Coconut. For me it smells pretty good. Like coconut with milk haha. My partner doesn't like the smell though. But I love it. My skin feels so pampered and moisturized every time I'm using this cream. I don't think I need to use lotion after bath but I still use body creams haha. Just to make sure because I don't trust my skin's dryness Lol. Its active ingredients are Virgin coconut oil and Jojoba oil. Deng! How can dryness fight those two oils? Hahaha. Bye bye dry skin! Shoooh!
