Alexander Lee is your new Oppa at My Korean Jagiya
Alexander Lee, a former member of the K-pop boy band, U-Kiss is the newest leading man of our Kapuso Star, Ms. Heart Evangelista, in her upcoming rom-com series, My Korean Jagiya. It is an upcoming Philippine-Korean drama series directed by Mark A. Reyes. The series is set to premiere in August 21, 2017 replacing I Heart Davao on GMA Network's Telebabad primetime block.

Aside from being a K-Pop Idol, Alexander Lee is also a dedicated actor. Some of his projects are "3 Peas in a Pod," "Immortal Masterpiece," and "Moorim School." Aside from singing, dancing and acting, this young idol speaks seven languages and they are Korean, English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Japanese, Spanish, and Portuguese. Wow! That's really impressive.

This is the first time the network is shooting in South Korea for an original series and the first time Kapuso stars will work with popular Korean actors. Heart Evangelista and Alexander instantly warmed up to each other when they started filming for 'My Korean Jagiya.' at MBC Cultural Village, the same exact location where the famous former Kapuso series, Jewel in the Palace was filmed. Nami Island, Namsan park, and lock bridge are also some of their shooting locations.

Aside from Lee, David Kim, Michelle Oh, and Jerry Lee are some of the imported talents people should watch in the upcoming show. The entire cast includes Janice de Belen, Ricky Davao, Iya Villania, Edgar Allan Guzman, Valeen Montenegro, Myke Salomon, Jinri Park, Frances Makil Ignacio, Divine Aucina, and Khane Dela Cruz.
