Althea Petal Velvet Powder Review

Althea Korea's first ever own brand product is finally here. I can still remember last year when I was shopping at Althea while browsing their categories, I was imagining what if Althea has their own line of products and boom! The elves from Althealand heard me and delivered their very first product right on my doorstep.

This debuting beauty is a translucent powder that sets makeup and leaves behind a silky finish to the touch. Infused with oil from Althea seeds, this powder works to keep sebum production at bay without drying out the skin for a radiant, fresh look, all while giving out a gentle scent. Keep your makeup looking great all day or dust some on to stay shine-free!

I love its simple yet sophisticated packaging (since I'm a minimalist person). I just hope they can print some English translation of the details printed on the box because they are written in Korean. When you open the box, you'll see a frosted glass with pink cute cap containing the product.

The Althea Petal Velvet Powder has an enchanting smell that will surely add good vibes to your day. I personally love its mild and fresh scent because it's not overpowering. It has a very soft and fluffy applicator which is perfect for my sensitive skin.

I applied the product on top of my foundation and I appreciate that it's a translucent powder because it did not affect the color of my foundation. It gives me a semi-matte finish without making my skin look dry or dull, in fact, it makes my skin look very silky and soft.

NO FILTER

After wearing this product for few hours, I noticed that my face were less oily and you can still see that silky glowing skin. It somehow makes my face look more refined. I think I will use this product more often because I love its effect and lasting power.

I just hope they can increase the amount of product because for me, 3g is not enough considering that it's a very nice setting powder.
